Chairwoman Anne Hathaway Issues Statement on the Appointment of Elise Nieshalla as State Comptroller

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Nov. 28, 2023) – Chairwoman Anne Hathaway gave the following statement regarding the appointment of Elise Nieshalla as the new Indiana State Comptroller:

"We are excited that Governor Holcomb appointed conservative leader Elise Nieshalla to serve as our state's next Comptroller. Elise is an excellent choice to fill the role after many years of exemplary service from Tera Klutz. Elise has years of experience as an entrepreneur, economic development professional, and as president of the Boone County Council. Throughout her career, Elise has been an accomplished public servant and has proven to be a strong leader and fiscal manager with every role she has held."
