UPDATE: Gov. Mike Pence out of surgery, resting at home

UPDATE (Aug. 14, 2015)– Gov. Mike Pence is out of surgery and resting at his house, says officials. During his time in surgery, Gov. Pence temporarily transferred his executive branch duties to Lt. Gov. Sue Ellspermann, beginning at 7:30 a.m. Friday. After being released from St. Vincent Hospital, he signed a letter to resume his duties.
