INDIANAPOLIS (June 4, 2015) – Indiana Republican Party Chairman Jeff Cardwell today announced the state party's spring dinner is sold out and over 800 people are expected to attend.
During the event, Gov. Mike Pence plans to announce his bid to seek re-election, and Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam, chairman of the Republican Governors Association, will keynote the dinner. The dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. on June 18 at Primo's Banquet Hall in Indianapolis.
"We are very pleased with the tremendous enthusiasm and support for this year's spring dinner event," Cardwell said. "We are also excited to hear from Gov. Mike Pence and Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam as our party continues to build momentum going into the November elections and 2016."
Recently, Indiana's employment report showed unemployment has dropped significantly and employment levels are approaching an all-time high for private-sector jobs. Cardwell said Republican principles and pro-growth policies under the Pence Administration continue to pay enormous dividends for Indiana.
