Stutzman names senior Senate campaign staff

Rep. Marlin Stutzman, R-3rd, announced Wednesday that he has named a seven-person team to run his campaign for an open Senate seat in 2016.

He said in a statement that the team members have "strong ties to our state and a proven track record of success in tough races."

By touting the experience and affiliations of his team this far ahead of the 2016 Republican primary election, Stutzman apparently is trying to show potential supporters that his campaign will be a highly organized, efficient operation.
