Sen. Coats talks government waste, failed bipartisanship

JEFFERSONVILLE — As the nation’s legislators review President Barack Obama’s budget, U.S. Sen. Dan Coats, R-Ind., says he is focused on reduction in excess spending.

“I think there’s some tough decisions that are coming up that we need to make,” Coats said in an interview with The News and Tribune on Friday.
