Indiana Farmers Making Their Voice Heard in Washington D.C.

Farmers must continue to stay engaged with their legislators, a point made clear at last week’s Indiana Ethanol Forum. Indiana Corn and Soybean Public Affairs Manager, Patrick Pfingsten, says when agriculture speaks, legislators listen.

“That matters. The voice of farmers in Indiana matter and they need to be engaged so that’s why members of the Indiana Corn Growers Association and Indiana Soybean Alliance get those benefits of having that access, knowing what’s out there and are able to be engaged and work with those who represent them at the Statehouse and in D.C. and can help influence decision-makers.”
