INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Jan. 9, 2024) – Chairwoman Anne Hathaway released the following statement regarding Governor Holcomb's 8th and final State of the State address:
"Governor Holcomb said it best, 'the state of our state is strong! And the rest of the world has taken notice, and they want in on it.' Tonight, the Governor reminded us how powerful the Indiana model is. Under Governor Holcomb's leadership and the leadership of the Indiana General Assembly, Indiana is out pacing our competition and has become one of the best places in the country to live, work and play. Despite our successes, the Governor made it clear that we have no intention to rest. He and our Republican supermajorities will continue to focus on policies that improve the lives of all Hoosiers.
Congratulations Governor Holcomb on a successful final State of the State Address. We are looking forward to your work to continue to take Indiana to the next level!"
