‘Early for Trump’ Plan Races Down all Tracks

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Trump-Pence Indiana Campaign today announced the ‘Early for Trump’ plan to fire up the Trump-Pence Indiana Train and to make Indiana the first state in the Trump-Pence victory column on November 8th.  Trump-Pence Indiana Campaign Chairman Rex Early introduced the plan along with Vice-Chair Tony Samuel.
Indiana Republican Party State Chairman Jeff Cardwell joined them at the State GOP headquarters also to discuss other joint campaign operations with the Indiana State GOP.  A Grand Opening for the new Trump-Pence campaign office will take place this Friday, Aug. 26th from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 27th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Vice Presidential Nominee Governor Mike Pence is scheduled to attend the Friday Grand Opening and speak to supporters at 5 p.m.

Rex was an early supporter of Donald Trump, contacting the national campaign a year ago and becoming the Trump State Chairman in March.  Early has served the nation overseas as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, is a former Indiana state legislator, was Indiana GOP State Chair from 1991-93 and was a GOP gubernatorial candidate in 1996.  He was the State Director on the Dole-Kemp campaign in 1996 and the Reagan-Bush campaign of 1980.

“I said five months ago that I was proud to be an early supporter and I’m proud of the way Hoosiers responded on May 3rd with almost 600,000 voting for Donald Trump” said Early.  “We ended things early for him with our huge Primary victory and we’re adding to the ‘Trump Train’ daily to make sure we bring home the early win on November 8th.”

The ‘Early for Trump’ plan consists of the following: Early for Trump Tour – Trump-Pence State Chairman Rex Early, Vice-Chair Tony Samuel and other team members will tour the state to meet with supporters, sign up volunteers, register voters and encourage early voting, deliver yard signs and supplies to Trump Regional Chairs and GOP county officials and meet with local media to discuss the Indiana campaign efforts.

Early Coalitions for Trump – The Trump-Pence campaign has been recruiting supporters to join various Trump Coalitions early and help recruit others over the next several weeks.  Trump Coalitions will include those for Veterans, Women, Farmers, Latinos, African Americans, Indian Americans, Bikers, and others.  To join a Trump Indiana Coalition, contact Suzie Jaworowski at (317) 689-1100 or [email protected].

Early Outreach for Trump – Deputy Director Cody Reynolds is recruiting for and directing the earliest, most effective ground game a presidential race in Indiana has ever seen.  To contact the Trump Indiana campaign to volunteer to make phone calls, campaign door-to-door, deliver yard signs, etc., supporters can contact Cody at (317) 689-1100 or [email protected].

Early Unity for Trump – Dozens of elected officials, prominent Hoosiers and legendary coaches endorsed Mr. Trump ahead of the May 3rd primary and since.  The momentum has continued throughout the summer with Governor Mike Pence joining the ticket as the Vice Presidential nominee.  More endorsements and Regional Campaign Chairs will be named soon.

Early for Trump Goals – The Trump-Pence Indiana Campaign effectively ended the Primary nomination process early on May 3rd with a huge Indiana victory, providing all 57 Indiana delegates to Donald Trump.  Pundits had predicted the nomination process would drag out to the last state contests on June 7th.  The Trump Indiana win resulted in the last two competitors suspending their campaigns, setting the Trump Campaign on an early and direct trajectory to the nomination, which Mr. Trump accepted at the RNC Convention in Cleveland on July 21st.

“I was honored to lead a very pro-Trump Indiana delegation at the convention in Cleveland where we were thrilled to add Governor Pence to the ticket,” said Cardwell.  “Our own Mike Pence gives Donald Trump a partner he can count on and one that is already proving to be a tremendous asset.”
Now the Trump-Pence Indiana campaign has set a series of internal goals to ensure a Trump Indiana win on November 8th, with the additional goal for Indiana to become the earliest state counted in the win column for the Trump-Pence ticket.

“Hoosier voters will pick Donald Trump and Mike Pence because they want to put America first, they want good paying jobs and they want to be safe from crime and radical Islamic terrorism,” said Samuel.  “Hillary Clinton has put Americans at risk and at best is ‘extremely careless’ according to our FBI Director. Hoosiers are tired of the same old Washington corruption and back-room pay-to-play deals Hillary represents, and we will vote for change in November.”
