Indiana Convention Center Entrances

The State Convention will be held in Exhibit Hall B located in the Wabash West Hallway. The closest entrance to Exhibit Hall B, where the State Convention will be located, will be Door #1 (West Street Entrance) across from the J.W. Marriott. Entrances on Maryland Street will also be close to Exhibit Hall B. Because of the distance from Exhibit Hall B in the Convention Center, The Maryland Street Canopy drop - off area would be the last best option for entering. A map of entrance locations can be found below.

Credential Pick-Up

Credential pick-up will be open from 9 am to 8 pm on Friday and from 8 am to 10 am on Saturday in the Indiana Convention Center Rooms 120-124 (outside of Hall B.)

Please note: All qualified delegates and guests must provide a photo ID in order to pick up their credentials. All delegates must also provide a photo ID in order to vote. There are no exceptions.

Credentials will be required for entry into the reception and convention.

Anyone not in line by 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 15th to pick up their credentials will not be permitted entry. You must have your credentials to gain entry to the convention hall. Please plan to pick up your credentials on Friday if possible. If you are arriving on Saturday, please plan to arrive closer to 8 AM when doors open to ensure you receive credentials.  Remember, we are sharing the Indiana Convention Center with another event and should be ready for large crowds and congestion.

Voting Information

When delegates go to vote, they will be using ES&S voting systems. This is a trusted service that is used in 42 states and in counties throughout Indiana. They provide a safe, secure, and anonymous voting experience. Furthermore, per state law, ES&S has a voter verified paper audit trail.

For those who are delegates, the process will be simple:

Step 1: Each credential has a unique barcode which will be scanned to check you in as a voter, and your license will be checked to ensure it matches your credential.

  • NOTE: The barcode is purely used for check-in and to make sure the voter does not vote more than once and to expedite the check-in process. There is no way for the system to identify how an individual voter has voted. There is no connection between the barcode on your credential and your ballot. This system provides complete anonymity.

Step 2: You will be given a blank paper and guided to a voting station, where you will insert the blank paper in the machine. The race for Lieutenant Governor will populate on the screen with the two options. After you make your selection, the machine will return a completed ballot to you.

Step 3: Take your completed ballot, insert it into the tabulator, and exit the voting area to head back to the convention floor.

Again, as you can see, this voting process is safe, secure, and anonymous. For more information, please see the below memo from the election vendor explaining the security of your vote.
